First of all, I have to say I was so very pleased with this order. I called my order into Toshiba Direct. The CSR advised me that I had a discount code which brought the price down from $58.99 to $56 and change. Not a huge discount, but with free shipping, it really worked out. With tax, my order total came to $59.50.
So, I ordered this item on Tuesday January 6, 2009. The very next morning, I received the item on January 7, 2009. How cool is that! And it was free shipping!
Now the good stuff -- and it's all good with this bag! It easily fits my 17" Vaio laptop. And it has all sorts of nooks and crannies for all the other crap I have to lug to the office. The padding is excellent on the bottom and sides of the bag. I dropped it about three feet (I do not dvise testing this -- this was pure accident) and the pc was safe and secure
The multitude of zippers is perfect -- easy access to the compartments that you need. Mostly, the different compartments are very functional, from storing diskettes to holding your Blackberry. There is a compartment for everything and then some. I really like the two mesh openings inside the front pocket. And also, a very cool plus, there is a velcro strap on the back of it that allows you so slide it over the push arm of a wheeled carry on. So it's easy to slide on and roll through airports.
The carrying strap is adjustable and padded, which makes carrying a breeze. My first few weeks with this bag have been great, and I will keep you posted with long term reviews. One thing I have found is that Case Logic makes good products. I am hoping this bag outlasts the laptop :)
