Still seeing the glass half full...

Well, according to an article I came across today, small businesses are not so optimistic these days. In fact, the article states that optimism has sank to 28-year low!

Wow! The lowest optimism in almost 30 years--- not to date myself, but that is my lifetime. So, this is the worst the small business economy has been in almost 30 years.

The article, U.S. Small-Business Optimism Index Sank to 28-Year Low in March, can be viewed here.

The articles states some very disheartening figures, including less jobs being created and mass amounts of jobs being eliminated. The numbers are discouraging, but I suppose I am still seeing opportunity.

Of course, something has to be done to shake this country up and out of this discouraging trend. And reviewing these numbers, employment needs to be on the forefront. The fact is, business continues to thrive out there. Widgets are still being invented. Widgets are still being created. Perhaps it is the next widget that will wake up this lethargic economy?

Just something to think about.
